This is genuine Matelassé construction. “Lights Out” in Color Combination: “Light Metals Chenille”: Light Yellow Gold, Platimium Grey, and Light Coppery Gold. These Chenilles are set into a Low luster satin/twill of colors Black and Natural. The expensive Matelassé method is basically 2 layers of fabric that interlock. This allows the thick chenille layer to interlock with the satin/twill layer with an embroidery-like effect. The Matelassé method also gives the satin/twill to have a puckered/crushed effect.
